Today I cut out a cool geometric pattern from 19mm thick wood to see how the Stepcraft would handle the job. I think it turned out nice!
This design would work as part of a panel for interior design or a thick coaster to sit hot pots and pans onto!
Asa Gara is a very popular design here in Japan and represents the Japanese love of nature. Its amazing just how popular this sacred geometry is. You can find this easily recognisable pattern on many items including sheets, cushions, earrings and kimonos!
