If you have launched Assetto Corsa Competizione at least once, it will have automatically created a MoTeC folder in your computer's documents folder. By default, the folder can be found at
C: / Users / Your Username / Documents / Assetto Corsa Competizione / MoTeC
Assetto Corsa Competizione will automatically store your telemetry data files in this folder.
To get Assetto Corsa Competizione to record your telemetry data there is one thing you have to do in the game. After selecting a session type such as Hot Lap and then selecting your car, you should start the session. Once in the session you should go to the car setup pages and click on the ELECTRONICS tab. On this page you can find the setting for TELEMETRY LAPS. Adjust this setting for the number of laps you wish to record data for and start the session. Assetto Corsa Competizione will now automatically output telemetry for the number of laps you have chosen as a MoTeC data file to the folder shown above.
After finishing your stint / race you can now view this data in the free MoTeC i2 software. If you have the MoTeC i2 software installed you can navigate to the folder above and double click on the latest MoTeC data file. This will open up and you will be presented with lots of charts filled with your race data.
Currently, Race League will only accept telemetry data files less than 500kb in size which is enough data for a single lap. When you open your data in the MoTeC i2 software it will automatically show your fastest timed lap. To export this lap data select
File -> Export Data...
This will bring up the Export Data options panel. Set the options as follows:
After saving the file to your hard drive you can now upload the CSV file to your Race League Dashboard and your lap details will automatically appear on the global leaderboard.
To upload your exported CSV File to Race League you first need to have an account. Get an account for free here, or if you already have an account, you can log in to access your dashboard page. Once at the dashboard you can click the Upload MoTeC Data button to get to the upload page. From here you can choose the CSV file you have exported from MoTeC i2 software. Your lap time will be added to the Race League Global Leaderboards automatically.
